Gustav

Hello all,
In lieu of my normal blog, I want to take the opportunity to share a post from another list regarding Hurricane Gustav. Lynn is a dog breeder who lives in New Orleans, she and her family and dogs weather Katrina just 3 years ago, and are again evacuating in the face of this new storm.

Lynn shares some links and advice on donating time and money toward the pending disaster. Many hard lessons were learned after Katrina, and we don't want to see a repeat of those mistakes.

Great website for the entire United States in preparing for any type of =disaster. Contains links on how to evacuate during every possible =scenario, gives listings of every state's contact information and phone =numbers during emergency situations. Everyone should have this website =bookmarked: http://www.ready.gov/america/index.html
