But part of participating in the challenge was to have our hero write a plan of seduction. Not a love letter, but an invitation...something to sway the heroine to his will. Anyhow, I don't really excel at writing over-the-top alpha males. And I don't do dirty talk very well. So Rico wrote Briony a poem. I think that's kinda in character for him. :)
Anyhow, I'm not a poet, it just started as a note and came out this way.
For Briony
You will come with me, Briony.
Up into the mountains where the summer wind whispers through
the pines
and carries their perfume to us in the star-kissed night.
In the darkness we’ll run, new grass like velvet
under our feet, and the moon our gentle companion. We’ll fall together and make
love, our bodies heated and needy and so very willing.
We’ll listen to the Raven as he shares his secrets and we’ll
laugh with Coyote when he tells his stories to all who will listen. We’ll drink
from an icy stream and dine on berries that are so sweet and fine. Sated and
weary, we’ll lay down in a bed of leaves and sleep, dreaming of each other and the
days and years to come.
Come to me, Briony.
I want you to touch me as I really am: both man, and beast.
I want to feel your hands on my fur and taste your sweet skin beneath the
gentle pressure of my fangs. Will you let me do that? Will you lay still and
fearless as I taste your very life? Can I trust you to trust me?
Lay with me, Briony,
We’ll look into the clear waters so you can see the woman I
need so badly. Sometimes you are blind to her, but you’ll watch as I touch you,
running my hands over your curves. You’ll see my eyes heat with desire. And I
will watch as you
Come with me, Briony.
